It will depend on what coordinate system your coordinates are in.

If the easting values are around 5 or 6, then you most likely have lat/long coordinates. If the values are much larger, then you have coordinates from one of the projected coordinate systems.

Determining which datum your coordinates are in (Amersfoort or WGS84) is not possible from just the coordinate values.

What is the source of your coordinates? Was there any metadata specifying the coordinate system?


Yes, if you can show us the coordinate values we should be able to figure out which of the systems they're in.


If the coordinates are in RD (X < 150.000 and Y > 300.000) then I would use the EPSG:28992
