Hi,

 

I want to write geometry and attribute data to a dxf file. How do I make sure that the attribute data is saved in the dxf file? All I get now is the geometry in the dxf.

 

Hi @fme_hans​, if you're using the Autodesk AutoCAD DWG/DXF writer, the default Attribute Setting will not include your attributes. You can change this by going into your writer's Parameters and selecting either Extended Entity Data or Inserts. The writer documentation goes into more detail.
