Hey, we are working on ceiling grids in Revit and heard about FME can convert 2D grid objects to 3D and furthermore creat ceiling plates. Is there anyone who have worked on this before? I'm new to FME 😝

Going from 2D to 3D is as simple as dragging in a 2DForcer and assigning a base Z value. From there, you put the features through an extruder with a height to build your solids. I haven't personally created what you're looking for but it shouldn't be that difficult.

FME is one of those software where if you can think about it, you can do it. It's that powerful.
