Hi,

I am using FME Desktop 2020.1.0.1 Build 20596 (64bit) and the Geometry Validator seems to not fix the Self Intersecting 2d polyline even though it comes out of the repaired port. Is this a bug or is there anything that I am doing incorrectly or missing a transformer? And what other solution can be done to fix this? Need a little help, please. Thanks

Lex

Fixing a self-intersecting line means inserting a vertex on the intersection. This is not really visible unless you visualize the vertices in some way.

Can you first check if there is a vertex inserted on the intersection by the GeometryValidator:

Hi David,

Thanks for your time. I have check all issues and it seems I didn't have any choice but to fix it. some of those issues were caused by the GPS data we have used as a vector to draw the lines. And some are transition from underground to aerial where some of which are valid.

Regards
