Hello World,

I'm wondering if anyone on staff has experinace (or a reader) for converting DeLorme files to ESRI.

Let me know if you need any of our product info. We are currently running FME 2017.

Thanks for the time.

Chris Caird

Are you sure it is FME 2007? That is very old!

FME ESRI Edition Fixed license (serial # XWCSFM5D15DE)

OOPS. I meant 2017.

Hi @chriscaird2018,

At this point I don't think FME supports reading in DeLorme directly. There are other applications which you can try. You can try get GPSBable for free here: https://www.gpsbabel.org/download.html

You might be able to couple the tool with FME's SystemCaller to automate the process. It would require a little investigation though.

It does look like you can create a windows batch file which might help if you want to convert in bulk - check out this batch example from GPSBabel - You could bulk convert to GPX then read with FME.

If you want to see support for these formats in FME you can create an 'idea' on our ideas page here.
