I'm trying to migrate from dwf's to GIS. When I inspect the dwf in inspector, none of the attributes that I really need and can see in Autodesks design review are even listed in the available columns under table view schema. Is this a known issue or is this due to my limited experience with FME?

Hi @larisakruger

Did you enable the Attributes in the Reader? Like this:

Thanks,

Danilo

Yes, all of the attributes are exposed.

When I view the dwf in Autodesk Design Review it recognizes the Space ID for Identity Data, but I do not see SpaceID listed anywhere in the attribute list in FME. Can you help me out?

@larisakruger

Is it not the attribute "autocad_identity_handle" (that's been named or referred to as Space_id ?)

I loaded some sample dwf, and all attributes are exposed by fme if requested.

Mount Hall01.pdf

I tried viewing the dwf in inspector. I do not see any autocad_identity_handle attribute. I think I have everything exposed. I have also attached the dwf, but I had to change the file type as the dwf was not permitted. You'll have to change the .pdf back to .dwf. Please feel free to take a look at it. Thanks!

Hi @larisakruger,

Unfortunately reading Object Properties from a DWF file is not currently supported.

I've added this Q&A post to our outstanding issue (FMEENGINE-9609).

Thanks for responding Andrea. We have other formats we can use. But dwf would have been a bit more streamlined.

We would be interested in getting the object properties supported in FME. Who might I talk to if we were willing to front some capital to get this moved up the priority list/fast tracked?
