Default insertion scale units [ACAD]

Is there anyway to set the default insertion for autocad writes? Its falls under the advanced parameters that you can only set after adding the writer, not on the add writer dialogue where you can 'save to my defaults'.

Unfortunately I don't believe there is. I will file an enhancement request with our developers because I think there ought to be a way to do this.
