For some reason, when converting an attribute such as...

...to AutoCAD text, the trailing ) gets dropped. Why is that?

BTW, if I append another character to the end (such as a period), all characters are output.

 

 

I assume something is trying to be too clever and is removing the trailing parenthesis as if it was doing math.

 

 

This is with FME 2014 SP5, 32bit windows.
