Hi All,

For the sql server reader, there is a parameter to "fetch the number of records at a time"  The default is 10.

Anyone tried increasing the default to maybe 1000?  Any performance gains?  implications?

Fetching 10 records at a time is seems rather low.

Ken

Hi Ken,

I played with a similar setting on oracle, can say I noticed much improvement, usually Safe sets these values to the most optimal setting.

Increasing it can be advantegous if the databse is also optimized.

Cheers,

Itay
