Delete and replace existing data in SDE

Here's what I have 

 

 

The reader is a file geodatabase and the writer is a versioned SDE layer. Sometimes there is a feature coming through the job that already exists in SDE. Basically there's been a change to a feature that involves the table and the shape. I'd like to be able to delete the features from SDE that need replacing, and then add the new geometry and table info for those features. We have an ID field that is unique. so if the ID exists in the reader dataset and the writer dataset. We want the feature removed and replaced with what comes from the reader.

 

 

Does that make sense?
