If I start with a coordinate pair or shapefile, and then use the extruder(s) to create a volume, what transformer do I need next so that the CSGBuilder will recognize the volume as "proper" 3D shape? I've tried GeometryFilter (solid) and GeometryCoercer (fme_brep_solid) but these do not do the trick.

Here is an example that is easily tweeked to replicate my problem:

This example creates XML geometry (an ellipse) then extrudes it and sends it to CSGBuilder. How can I make this work if I start with a shapefile that is an ellipse?

Hi,

This example you mention is quite straight forward and simple, have you tried it?  What is the error message you get if it fails?
