I would like to insert a table into a pdf. Indeed, I extract datas from a Excel table.

I have used PDFpageFormater. However, it seems that only picture are allowed to appear in the pdf. Which transformers that I have to use to get what I want ?

There is a TableAdder custom transformer that you can try.

Can you share your workspace and data? That'll make it easier to make some suggestions.

I get those datas from several Excel tables. Then I have to return those into PDF.

It looks like the TableAdder could do with an upgrade, I can't seem to get anything useful out of it either. @daveatsafe, it appears you were the last to work on it, can you suggest something?

Hi @mika,

I will take a look at the TableAdder transformer, but I think you will get better results from a combination of two transformers:

- HTMLReportGenerator - this is a powerful transformer that can build quite a complex report, including tables, from your data

- HTML2PDFConvertor - use this instead of the PDF writer to convert your HTML report into a PDF file. This is an FME Hub transformer.

This is what I use for all my tables in rasterwriters and pdf writers.LDN from dwg.pdf

(alas annotations bit Dutch, larded with some English)

Not added sorting and fontcalculation yet. So I have a "Multiplier breedte" (breedte is width to fit your chosen font manualy).

The parameter "Attr_participants" is a comma separated string of the attributes you use. So do not enter attributes. ( or enter them and remove the @Value() bit).

I think it is a interesting way of doing it.

Tabel messing ... again.fmwt

The pdf inserted is created with the Tabel2 transformer directly from the data, a AutoCAD file.

Just honor the creator. ;)
