I am trying to use RCaller in FME 2024.1.3.0 with R version 4.3.3.
To get started, I followed the tutorials, but in every case, the script gets stuck at RCaller. There are no errors or warnings—it simply does nothing and keeps running indefinitely.
The last thing I see is:
It seems that the connection to R.exe is working.
Does anyone know what beginner mistake I might be making?
+39first thought would be to examine the transaction log where the Rcaller is, see if there are WARN or ERROR messages. Also try running the workspace with debug mode https://support.safe.com/hc/en-us/articles/25407543387533-FME-Flow-Debugging-Toolbox-Logging-Tools

I tried your advice with the transaction log and the debug mode. In this case, there don't appear to be any errors, only this warning:
But this can't be the problem. It still stays stuck at the same point, and the computing power cannot be the issue for this small task.
