Hi everyone,

does anyone have an idea why MapInfo writer accepts the relative path of current directory (".") and CSV writer just reports a fatal error "CSV Writer: Could not create output dataset directory `'"?

As soon as I specify the relative path containing more than a dot (say "./output") it works just fine.

Hi Jaro,

I don't know why "." cannot be used as the destination directory setting of the CSV writer.

As a workaround, you can link a System Parameter named "FME_MF_DIR" to specify the current directory path, instead of the relative path.

Thanks, I did not know "FME_MF_DIR" specified the current directory. I meanwhile found out that "./anything/.." works too.
