Hi, we are migrating mapguide gis using oracle spatial to esri arcgis using sql server. I would like to check if there is a benchmark that can be used as a reference to compute for the loading time?

IS there a rule of thumb in terms of number of features, data size?

Thank You.

We do not have benchmarks on data loading performance as there a so many factors at play - network performance, database performance, what processing you doing in FME, etc. The best thing to do is run a test dataset and see what that looks like in your environment.

We do have some knowledge articles that might help you tune your FME performance:
