Hi All,

I have ESRI shape files with polygon geometry type, i need to extract the text from them and need to import the text to Smallwrold. In Smallwrold, the geometry type is annotation, i'm using the transformer "Label Point Re placer", features are imported to Smallworld, but when trying navigate to a feature, getting message "The selected object do not have the geometry in the map" in smallworld. Please suggest how to import text from Shape files to Smallwrold. Thanks in advance. @takashi @itay

The article Smallworld Connection and Translation Errors - section on FME for Smallworld Translation Errors might help. Generally if your geometry does not import correctly it's a result of not structuring the sworld_geometry{}.sworld_name and related attributes correctly. The FME for Smallworld training manual which is referenced in Working with GE Smallworld Databases describes how to structure text objects for import into Smallworld.
