Microstation DGN V7 - Writing dimensions

Hi,

I am creating a process to 'clean up' our microstation v7 dgns - remove duplicates, unwanted data on wrong levels etc.

When I read the v7 dgns then write back to v7, I am losing any dimensions. They are changing from idgs_element_type 33 (dimension) to 4 (lines).

I have the 'drop dimension' unticked.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be really appreciated.

This is an issue we should look further into in FME Support. Please send a copy of your Microstation file and workspace to support@safe.com, and I will try to find the source of the problem for you.
