Hi All,

I have some thematic charts (1 band, paletted) that I'd like to try and add a fixed-image (created with MapnikRasterizer (4 band)) watermark to one of the corners of.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to do this?

- RasterMosaicker is out because the two images have different numbers of bands.

- MapnikRasterizer almost certainly could, but I'm concerned it will alter the charts in some way beyond the watermarking (location, size, projection, paletting, imagery, etc) which is an absolute no-no.

Before I set about trying to use MR to do this, does anyone have any other suggestions? Or even suggestions for how to use MR to do it.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Maybe use a rasterexpressioncalculator/evaluator on relevant bands?

Hi Jonathan,

I think you can do mosaic them after coercing interpretation of the chart to RGBA32. Have a look at these transformers.

RasterPaletteResolver

RasterInterpretationCoercer
