CityGML writer fails to write CityGML from CityGML

Forum|alt.badge.img

My workflow is pretty easy, I drag and drop a CityGML file in the workbench and then add a CityGML writer and connect it. FME proudly tells me it wrote features, but when I open the file there's no geometry. Do I have to add a bunch of transformers?

Variations tried on reader:

- all features

- single merged

Variations tried so far on writer (feature type definition):

- all of them

More info:

- the source CityGML file is fine and displays without errors in the inspector

- no errors are reported during the translation

Have you tried to set the writer to 'Dynamic'?

At the Schema Definition Name you should select the reader.

Any chance you could share your source data here? That'll make it easier to find out what's going on.

The problem was elsewhere. I cleared out my temp files and rebooted a few times and now it works. A problem where some textures showed as transparent red-dotted areas in the inspector went away as well. "Dynamic" however would be the right answer if everything else worked correctly.
