Hi All, I really would like to be able to export Revit/IFC files for use in Minecraft. Can anyone shed some light on how to do this?

Sure. Minecraft in FME is supported as a Point Cloud format. That means you'll need to read your source data in and convert it to a point cloud. Each point in the point cloud becomes a block in Minecraft.

This great article on our knowledge base tells you everything you'll need to know about creating Minecraft worlds with FME. If you scroll down the page (about 75% down) there is even an example workspace that demonstrates converting IFC to Minecraft.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.
