Question

las to 3dtiles preserving color

I've tried to export a las file to 3dtiles (i.e., a pnts file) with fme, but the color was missing afterward in cesium. I could not find that I can choose to include RGB or something like that. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @amitkg1993,

According to the Cesium Point Cloud writer Quick Facts, we don't seem to have support for added colour, but it may work with the point cloud colour components if you have values for those. You can check by running a logger after the LAS reader and it will list the components its got. It may also be possible do the classification in Cesium looking from one of their gallery examples. Hope that helps!
