Question

Expose 'Group' element in Microstation DGN V8 file.

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hi,

I am using FME 2017.1 and would like to expose the Microstation DGN V8 attribute called 'Group' circled below in the screen shot (Attribute value is 'D' in this case).

I have exposed all the 'Format Attributes' in the DGN Reader and looked through the Reader parameters but cannot find this attribute anywhere.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Hi @aquamarine,

Did you expose all elements and it not show? Could you send the file DGN?

I have the version FME 2018.

Thanks,

Danilo

I have posted an idea about adding the 'Named Group' value as an attribute that can be imported using the Microstation DGN Reader.
