Hi guys,

I am trying to migrate some .dwg file to ESRI raster/symbols.

1) when i use inspector on the .dwg reader, the colors for polygon or hatches are missing from the drawing.

May I know how resolve this?

2) How should i migrate .dwg file to geodatabase raster dataset or symbols?

Hi,

When reading the dwg, do the features contain a fme_color and fme_fill_color? if that is the case, then its just a matter of visualising the features in the data inspector, btw FME is not that good at displaying hatches.

2) How should i migrate .dwg file to geodatabase raster dataset or symbols?

This is a too open question, since there are a lot of factors that need to be taken in account for a conversion like this. Things to consider can be (among other): input features geometry types, input styling methods and desired output format.

If you have some more specific questions about such a conversion, let us know.

Cheers,

Itay
