At the bottom of this (https://safecommunity.force.com/CommunityAnswers?id=906a0000000cg4JAAQ&v1=907a0000000cZZVAA2&v2=Up&#!/feedtype=SINGLE_QUESTION_DETAIL&dc=FME_Desktop&criteria=ALLQUESTIONS&id=906a0000000d05pAAA)page, Takashi commented that expressions written into FME translators have an FME specific syntax.

The syntax does seem very straightforward, but I was looking to see if there are some useful, more advanced features about it that I have not come across. I tried to find out more details about the syntax, but with no luck; I don't know what to call it when searching.

Is there full documentation to this syntax?

Does it have a more formal name than "FME syntax"?

Hi,

I've never seen a documentation fitting to your requirement exactly.

I frequently see these links:
