Mobile apps generate feature services with multimedia attachments, these should be visible.

This would be very nice. We can manage with liberal use of Python or HTTPCallers, but it's not ideal.

This would be a great feature to add. Does anyone have an example of HTTP caller sucessfully doing this?? ^^

been looking for this functionality for a while, would be very handy addition.

@darwinbloke

A few things are important if you want to use HTTPCaller. I wrote a blog about it back in 2014:

You can also find a lot more on the topic on the ArcGIS REST help page.

We are starting to use ArcGIS Online to do some field pickup and inspections. These records will have photos and support for attachments would streamline this process.

I have tried and successfully pulled the features from arcgisonline, but have not been able to pull the attachments (photos in my case). Would love to have that functionality easily accessible.

I’m pleased to let you know that a recent update to FME has added an option to read attachments from ArcGIS Online Feature Services.

You will find the update in our latest FME 2017.1 beta: safe.com/betaTo use this new option, add a new ArcGIS Online Reader into your workspace with FME 2017.1. Then, open the Feature Type Properties window on the reader feature type and set Include Attachments to Yes. The attachment data will be saved into an attribute called arcgisonline_attachment{}.data (if you don't see that in your workspace, you can expose it under Format Attributes).

Hi Laura

I can expose the attributes but do not know how to process them. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
