Is there a way to add fields from excel into a feature service field on ArcCollector?

I'm hoping to take the items of a column on excel and place them in a form for their related attribute.

i.e. fill in a field on multiple forms in an ArcCollector project using excel

Full disclosure, I don't have much experience with Collector... but to clarify are you trying to update field values for feature prior to collecting info in the field, or are you trying to update existing records using the excel data to update what is already in the Collector database?

From my understanding the local Collector .geodatabase created is a SQLite database. I guess you can try using the SQLite reader/writer in FME, but I'm not sure if there are any dependencies, etc. that you need to be aware of before modifying those tables outside of the ArcGIS environment.
