FeatureReader, adding multiple files

I have an issue with the FeatureReader. Within the FeatureReader Parameter dialogue I'm adding multiple Mapinfo files, and choosing to select all FeatureTypes on the next screen. When I run the workspace only one file is read and when I return to the FeatureReader Parameters it only lists the parent directory of one file, rather than the individual files selected .

 

 

If I add a directory and then just choose some FeatureTypes the reader works as expected and I get multiple outputs.

 

 

If I add multiple directories then only files from one directory are read.

 

 

Am I trying to do something that's not possible, or am I missing a setting or similar somewhere?
