G'day everyone,

I am working on a metadata project for my organisation using MapInfo Manager (Pitney Bowse). I have filled a template metadata record using the program and exported to XML.

With FME, I have converted the XML to Excel format using Feature Paths (MD_Metadata) and Flatten options as specified in an FME XML help video (thank you Safe).

I would like to distribute an Excel template to users who would fill in metadata details. Each record in Excel will be a metadata record that needs to be converted back to XML. I have tried the XMLtemplater with Root Template Expression to copy the template XML text and replacing the attributes.

Is there any other automated way to do this process of matching attibutes to the template attributes? There are about  200 attributes that I need to match.

Thanks in advance,
