Add option to Save as Default to Writers

Many transformers have the option to save settings as My Defaults, it would be great to have that functionality on writers as well.

For instance, on the jpeg2000 writer, we have standards in regards to the Compress By Percentage parameter which is not the default 75. Every single time we add the writer we need to remember to go and change it.

You can do this in FME 2017+ as well in FME 2019 you can now save presets and have multiple pre-set parameters.

I see the Presets on the Writer parameters, but this does not actually meet my use case, as the presets I would like to use for Rasters are set on the Writer Feature Type, which does not have any presets.

In the above Jp2000 example, the presets parameters all involve projection information (presumably for the header), which in 15+ years of using FME, I've never had occasion to change.

Whereas every single time I add the jp2000 writer, I need to go into the Feature Type and change the Compress By Percentage parameter.
