what are FME Desktop using to encrypt the data to store passwords (e.g. ORACLE Spatial object passwords)?

i would like to know :

Does the data transmitted in encrypted form?

https/TLS

or which encryption form is using in FME Desktop ?

please ,refer me to the documentation regarding to encryption form ,if available .

Password storage is encrypted using AES-128 (at least that's the most recent I could find)
