Why are the log files just disappear when a workspace is being processed in the FME Server?


After it begins running, I have this message: Error: The log file for job ID "19099" does not exist.

However, I can see it (only the job id and the workspace number) in the running jobs section.

Is your FME Server low on disk space by any chance? By default there's some aggressive cleanup tasks being activated if the disk space goes too low and this may result in job logs being deleted as soon as they are created.

Indeed, it's most likely the low disk space cleanup task that has been triggered. Check the contents of this log file for more details: <FMEServerShare>\\resources\\logs\\service\\current\\fmecleanup.log
