I am running a workbench and the database updater transformer seems to crash FME every time. I was using FME Desktop 2020.1 but have now updated to 2020.2 but the results are the same.
Is it likely I am doing something wrong, or is it a known issue?

Just to get some clarification here, when you say crash is the Workbench application crashing and closing or is the workspace failing?
Are you running the entire workspace when the crash occurs or doing a partial run? Could you try with feature caching disabled? Run > Enable Feature Caching (deselected)
