Are there any specific timeframes for FME Desktop/FME Server major release versions?

I like to test out new beta functionality and would like to have a better idea about when the next official major release would be available. I end up telling colleagues about this new functionality and when they ask when it will be available, I would like to give them a good estimate of when that would be out.

 

I wasn't sure Safe was shooting for a certain month for each major release version, or they just happen whenever they are ready.

 

For example, I'm looking at the new dynamic FME Server App Gallery updates that are to be release with 2020.2 and would like to know when that might be available to download for the official release.

All major releases are scheduled, with typically 3 a year - one every four months - we target our major releases around the months of March (x.0), July (x.1) and November (x.2).

    All major releases are scheduled, with typically 3 a year - one every four months - we target our major releases around the months of March (x.0), July (x.1) and November (x.2).
