Styling and Formatting the word document using MSWordStyler doesn't seem to work properly

Normally the MSWordStyler works in sequential order. But in my case the transformer works in a different order and I have a table that doesn't seem to take the style that is defined in the MSWordStyler mswordstylersequence.

Hello @aarthi, thanks for posting. Can I ask how you're currently sorting your MS word features before sending them to the writer?

Out of curiosity, if you right click on the output port of the 'TempPathnameCreator' are you able to set the connection runtime order?

This function allows you to control the order in which transformers execute their connections. If I've misunderstood the issue or this doesn't help resolve the table formatting, please let me know!

SetConnectionRuntimeOrderOtherwise, there are a few different feature sorting methods in Safe's Microsoft Word Webinar around the ~35min mark. Happy to help, Kailin.

Hi @kailinatsafe , Thanks for your reply. As you have suggested I have used the connection runtime order and it seems to work. But still I have issues with the table styling.

  1. When I provide a base microsoft word file, the table doesn't take any styling but it is displayed in the word document. I don't have any base styles described in the base word file.
  2. Another case is when I give fanout dataset and the word document is saved in 2 different word files. The first word file saved with fanout dataset name and all the content is visible in the word document except the table. The other file saved in the name of '.docx' and it contains the table without styling.

I don't what causes this weird behaviour. Can you help me with this issue?

Hello @aarthi, thanks for the update! I'm going to follow up with you via support case, I think it may be helpful to see a copy of your workspace/data. Chat soon, Kailin.
