Question

Error georeferencing images in KML file when the KML output is fanned out by a feature attribute

When I use FeatureWriter to output multiple GeoTiffs to a single KML Images file, all of the images are correctly registered.

When I change the FeatureWriter to fan out the KML using a feature attribute, the the images are no longer correctly registered when viewing the KML in Google Earth. The individual GeoTIFFS saved to the \\images directory are correctly registered. Bug or am I missing something?

Hi @Dave Branson,

Thanks for spotting this! This appears to be incorrect behaviour on the KML writer side. I'll convert your question into a case for to investigate the issue further, and you'll receive an email shortly. When you do, would it be possible to share your workspace and sample data that shows this issue by responding to the email?

For anyone else experiencing a similar issue, feel free to leave a comment, I'll be posting back here when we have a resolution (:
