I need to convert Segy to Tiff. Does anyone know how to do this with FME?

Hi @kate4g, I reached out to my colleagues and hope to provide some initial information here.

SEGY currently is read as vector points by FME, so we have an article showing the process of converting vector to raster. However, these are only for coordinates, and all other information remains binary encoded, which I suspect is what you are actually interested in to have in the Tiff (?). If so, unfortunately FME is limited in interpreting additional information at this point.

There was an idea posted on adding more support for seismic data that you are very welcome to vote and comment on. Thank you!
