Hi there,

I have placed few VIEWS on Oracle Database changing TABLE column names.

ie: ID as PLANT_ITEM_ID

When I connect the VIEW via FME 2023.2.1.0 all column names are showing as what is recorded on Oracle Tables. It is ignoring column names I have set up on VIEWs. How do I get around this issue?

I don’t want to use “attribute manager” to change the names. I have already done that on my VIEWs.

Is there a way I can see the Column names on VIEWS through FME?

thanks

Regards,

Pushpa

Hello @pushpa, are you able to specify the oracle reader in use, as well as the build of FME Form being used? I created a new view, edited a column name to include ‘_X’ and saw this reflected in FME Form 2023.2.1 build 23774 & 2024.1. I might be interpreting incorrectly, are you able to share a screenshot of the view columns and the columns shown on the reader feature type in FME Form? Best, Kailin.
