Hi I am new to FME and here as well…

I am trying to use a PDF that has an image and I want it to use FME ( not sure which one) to export it to TIFF the same as you see in PDF ?

Is that possible for me to do that ?

Welcome to FME :) Unfortunately the answer is not a straight yes or no, it really depends how the PDF has been created.

I’ve its been ‘flattened’ down to a single layer, then probably not. If it still has lots of layers in it, then it might be possible. Without having access to the file, it’s a bit difficult to tell!

If its just a single PDF, it will probably be easier to just save the PDF as a TIFF and then crop the resulting output

As @hkingsbury says, it really depends. If you can share the PDF we’d be able to say more.

TIFF in itself can be a tricky format, it has lots of options for color usage and FME may not support all of them.

Thank you for replying …  Yes I believe so. The person who did this had export to Adobe Illustrator from ArcGIS Pro.

I tried in ERDAS, ArcGIS Pro but came out none..  The only way around is to do to use the settings ..

In ArcGIS Pro,  Stretch Type settings to None, Resampling Type set to Billinar , Set Enhancement  set to 0,0, 1.0 (Gamma)

That is the only way around is to change then in Raster Layer for each of them
