Fast & Furious (fastest engine)

Minority Report (predict the future)

Top Gun (best of the best)

Terminator (I hope I didn’t create something too powerful)

007 - License to Kill.

In FME World: 007 - License to Transform ( James Bond style, focused on the power that FME gives to transform everything)

While You Were Sleeping?

...ah the sweet sounds of fme gears turning on a busy fme flow server…

Which got me thinking of the busy worlds of Richard Scarry and how there’s no movie for that. And how wonderful it is to have FME connect to everything, everywhere (all at once). So copilot gave me a mash of the two ideas. This brings me joy. :D

Fantastic! I wouldn’t be surprised if we started to use that in our marketing materials! 😉

Not a movie but something that immediately popped into my head is a game called Satisfactory. I have not played it myself, but from what I have seen and based on descriptions from friends that play it, I think playing that game would feel like building workspaces first-person in an FME world.

@liamfez Yes, I was looking at the appropriately named Shapez game for a while and thought I could definitely use it to teach FME. There might even be techniques that could be applied in a similar way on Workbench. I haven't been back to it in a while, but I’ll have to do that at some point.

TRANSFORMERS :)

Arachnophobia :

How about the Lego Movie 2014? Lego building parts can be seen as data in different kinds of data formats and size. Out of this mess you as builder creates a nice and appealing construction like a castle. With FME its the same way of thinking, bringing data together, structure them and create something valuable for the end user :)

haha why?? I hate spiders :P

Oops! I Merged It Again - the life of a lizard of leisure

haha why?? I hate spiders :P

Because it reminds me of the spider webs I used to create on my very first workbenches.
