If you were an FME action figure, what would you look like? Inspired by ‘spatial data wrangler’ @mmccart LinkedIn post, this week’s Question of the Week is to create your own AI-generated action figure and share a photo below!

Here’s one prompt ChatGPT suggested to create your action figure. Customize as you like!

"Please create an image of a highly detailed action figure of a professional data integration specialist, posed heroically in front of computer screens with complex workspace diagrams. The figure wears a utility belt filled with FME icons like transformers, readers, and writers. Includes miniature certification badges, a laptop accessory, and a background of a futuristic tech lab. Realistic lighting, action figure packaging style, cinematic detail."

This is a great ask! I’ll kick-start this one with a throwback, Funko-Pop style. Maybe not exactly what I’d look like, mind you:

Here is another prompt to adapt and try:

Create a 3D cartoon-style action figure toy named '[YOUR NAME]', displayed inside a transparent plastic blister packaging like a toy sold in stores. The figure should be posed in a fun but neat way, with a full-body view. Use a vertical (portrait) layout. The character looks like the person in the photo. Their style is [DESCRIBE STYLE: e.g., feminine and modern, short pink hair, big round glasses, cheerful expression, light skin tone, soft makeup]. On the top of the packaging, add bold white text that says: '[YOUR NAME]', and below it in smaller text: '[TITLE OR TAGLINE: e.g., Creative Director, AI Coach, Digital Nomad]'. The figure is dressed in [DESCRIBE OUTFIT: e.g., oversized hoodie, leggings, and chunky sneakers, holding a phone]. Add 3 accessories placed in separate blister packs next to the figure: [ACCESSORY 1], [ACCESSORY 2], [ACCESSORY 3] (e.g., a bubble tea, a laptop, and a coffee mug). The packaging design should be minimalist and cute, made of light cardboard material with a clean aesthetic. Place a small '[BRAND NAME OR LOGO]' in the top-right corner. Use [BACKGROUND COLOR OR PALETTE: e.g., pastel pink, neon blue, cardboard beige] as the background for the card backing. The overall style is cartoonish, modern, and visually appealing for social media.

I asked ChatGPT to give my action figure more personality and it went heavy on the stars! 😆

Had to get in on this - such a fun idea! I mentioned sunglasses once, but ChatGPT must know I have an extensive collection and gave me 2 pairs 😂

I couldn’t miss this one 😃, but I let ChatGPT to generate the image based on what it knows about me. Then I only asked to shave me, change hair color and write a different text

Here is mine, the traditional way of welcoming any guest (data) in South India!

A gold plate with fruits, betel leaves, betel nuts, a sweet delicacy (mysore pak) and a gold pot with the holy water from the River Ganges.

I used ChatGPT for this.

My contribution to this is created using pixlr.

I require a lot of glasses and security passes.  LOL.

I should have asked to be a bit taller, but on the whole this isn't bad!

Here I am!

Hello everyone, have you seen a serious Data Integration Specialist before😁

GPT definitely took some liberties, but I like it ha ha.

The making data behave really got me 🤣 @kketola

Mine’s more of a beefed up FME Lizard respecting his reptilian heritage with his pythonista top

This was fun! Took a couple iterations to get here but got a nice workspace 😄

Bonus points for the workspace @andreaatsafe 😛

Love this idea! The realistic prompt produced some kinda scary results but the funco pop style works

This is giving me Indiana Jones vibes! @marcust

The AI was quite accurate with my hat, but I have no idea what the last accessory is! @danielleatsafe
