URGENT: Connecting GoogleDrive

Hi everyone!

I have a really strange problem connecting Google Drive to FME.

Until this morning, I could very easily connect my Google Drive to FME Desktop and then straight to the server.

As of this morning, I receive a message like this when I want to log in to Google:

We tried to do it on another computer,

And it is the same problem.

Hmm, You should go into your Google account and review your Security activity. Security>Review security activity. If you think you've been hacked or compromised then follow the support from google here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6294825?hl=en

 

In the security settings you can review which third Party apps have access to your account. You can remove any or all including FME.

I'll be honest though - I've made an assumption that the response you're getting there is from a language your not familiar with and the URGENT in the question title. If I've made a false assumption then maybe it's something else.

 

I just set up a new connection for Google Drive with FME 2022.2.5 and had no trouble. Which version of FME Are you using?

Thank you!

It was really a problem of versions.

We use the first version of 2022, because of the compatibility with the server version.

I upgraded the FME to 2023, created the link to Google Drive there, and pulled it to the old version.. :)
