It would be great if it was possible for the matcher to consider line direction but allow use of an interior vertex tolerance and an extra vertex tolerance.

IDGeometry
1LINESTRING (0 0,50.05 0,100 0)
2LINESTRING (0 0,100 0)
3LINESTRING (100 0,0 0)


So for the above lines, I'd want it to consider 1 & 2 a match if i was using a tolerance of 0.1

The Matcher had a complete overhaul for FME 2019 and tolerance was a key part of that. Anyone want to see if the 2019 betas do what is desired? http://www.safe.com/beta

So it appears that the vertex tolerance in the new matcher is implemented even with lenient geometry matching set to no from my simple experiment. Happy days
