ArcGIS Portal Feature Service Name: Replace dash (-) with underscore (_) before writing | Community

As the dash (-) is not allowed in ArcGIS Portal File names, it would be great if FME could update that on the fly if an invalid filename is passed in, similar how characters like { } are changed to _ for attributes.

@deanhowell - can you clarify what you mean by ArcGIS Portal File names?
Are you referring to the Portal Feature Service layer name (eg. feature type name)?

@andreaatsafe yes the Portal Feature Service Name, although it might be more to do with the File Geodatabase that is created during the publishing process. As an example, from the Vancouver data, public-art needs to be changed to public_art to publish correctly.
