When working with an Oracle database you usually get the option to remove the table qualifier within the connection parameters (Reader, Writer). However, this option is missing within the Joiner transformer resulting in a minor inconsistency within your workspace. Could you include this option in the Joiner, too?

I just came across this issue too and was hoping that it was because I had an older version of FME.

Basically I have a workspace with a lot of joins to a few different schemas (views are not an option). I’m using named database connections that are saved as workspace parameters. The joiner can pick up the parameter which is great.

But now I need to change the database user to the RO user for all the joiners. The database connection I can change easily via the parameter but I am going to have to manually change the table qualifier in all the joiners :(

A possibility for FME 2018?

Would be nice if this can also be added to PostgreSQL/PostGIS readers.
