Hi,

We have FME server FME Server 2022.2.2 Build 22782 using SSO to login. We have role based acces to functionality using sync with Windows AD. All users can login to FME server using 'Use Windows Credentials 'except one person who has the same role(s) attached to him as other users. Different browsers were tested

 

fmeserver log is attached to this call. Error is at line 295

This error logged is rather unusual. Based on your log, I found 1 user that was logging in with SSO (zegel201). Are there any differences between the accounts and permissions?

A couple of questions to dig deeper into:

  • Has the specific user failed to authenticate using SSO since the beginning? Did it use to work or is it a new issue?
  • Are there more logging in the sso.log (resources>logs>service>current|old>)
  • Can the specified user log into FME Flow using their Windows credentials, even when manually typing them in? Is it just SSO that fails to log in?

To get started, we have troubleshooting guides for both Single Sign-on and Active Directory. I'd recommend running through their initial troubleshooting steps.
