I would like to update an email address within a published parameter. I am able to edit the value but when I hit the Save button it gives me an error and says it cannot save and save to another location. What am I not doing?

It says, "Cannot save. Try saving to a new location?"

The Translation log also says:

Failed to save workspace. Error: Workspace Saver: Failed to create temp file "E:\\FME_TEMP\\wb-out-1669826917177_916". 


Hi @mtung​ I have a few questions to better understand what's happening here:

  • Does this only happen with this specific workspace? If so, are you able to share the workspace with us for testing?
  • Is the workspace originating from a workspace template?
  • How are you opening the workspace? Are you starting FME Desktop first and then opening the workspace from within FME Desktop? Or do you just double-click on the file to open it in FME?
  • Additionally, what version of FME Desktop are you using on your machine?

Could it be that the E: disk is full?
