Question

Update AGOL without changing edit date?

Has anyone got a workaround for updating a hosted feature layer without effecting the edit date? I have had multiple editors updating many hosted layers for over a year. I now need to change some attributes on a large scale (+30k records).

Ive been able to create a simple workbench using the feature merger to achieve my update. The issue now is loosing the historic, editor and edit date attribute.

Many Thanks

Mick

I don't think that the AGOL time settings are under FME's control. Once you have enabled historic versions/archiving, AGOL is going to honour those settings. I'm not sure what would happen if you disabled the Time Settings in AGOLs content management tools, you might lose you're history as described in the ArcGIS documentation. Perhaps approach Esri support to determine if there is a way to disable the archiving without losing the history.
