Reading/Writing Microstation Properties

Hello,

I am trying to read or write the various text attributes such as "Title" or "Comments" listed in Microstation under File -> Properties. I have checked all format attributes in my DGN Reader as well as trying different reader parameters to get the attribute to show up in my inspector - no luck so far.

Is there some way to read these as FME attributes?

Yes, I have selected all of them and searched for the value I typed in via Microstation - no dice.

 

My DGN file contains point/line/polygon geometries.

Which reader version are you using? V7 or V8?

I'm using the "Bentley MicroStation Design (V8)" reader.

unfortunately, these dgn-file properties are not supported by FME at the moment. Could you please suggest this functionality as a new idea (please see NEW IDEA in the top right corner of this page).
