Positional improvement - points and improved large scale

Hi all

 

 

I have large scale data and a copy of the same data that has been positionally improved.

 

 

I have the Point data associated with the original large scale data and would like to apply the point data to the positionally improved data so that the points remain within their polygons (ensuring that the improvement shift does not leave a point outside its original polygon).

 

 

With FME capable of all tasks, has anyone any ideas how I can use it to do this?

Hi,

 

To transfer information between datasets see the feature merger, just make sure to remove/rename attributes with the same names beforehand.

 

For spatial comparison see the spatial relator or spatial filter or point on area overlayer.
