Microstation: Incorrect colour when using attribute value in level

Hi everyone,

We recently switched to the new version (2024) of FME. I ceated a new fmw-file to convert gml to dgn. But when opening the dgn, I noticed that every level that uses an attribute value has the colour ‘white’ instead of the intended colour.

Is this a bug? Can somebody help me how to solve this?

Thanks in advance.

Interesting - has this behaviour changed from a previous version?

I know that three was some work done for FME 2024 for defining DWG layers from attribute values. Perhaps this work also applied to DGN. It could be that you have some hidden attributes which were previously being ignored which are now being used and they are messing with the definition? check if you have any hidden attributes.

A work around maybe to create an attribute value for the level color and see if you can apply it as a value.

Yes, we previously worked with the 2022-version.
It worked fine then.
I don't see any hidden attributes that could give any problems.
Creating an attribute value for the level color works but I don't see a way to also do it for the color of level override.
